I have been stuck at 225 for about a month now, so in an effort to break through this plateau I have started running. I have a wonderful friend who runs marathons and she has started "training" me. On the first day I ran a minute, walked a minute, ran a minute, walked a minute for 30 minutes. I thought I was going to DIE but it felt really good when I was done. The next time I went running she couldnt go so I took Lucy up to the park and tried to run around it while she played. The only problem is that she wanted me to push her on the swings. Plus my new shoes gave me a blister so I gave it as good of an effort as I could on that day. Two days later when I met Wendy at the gym again she KIKCKD MY BUTT!!! After a quick warm up I ran 2minutes, walked 2 minutes, ran 2 minutes, etc. I ended up going just over two miles. I have to admit that it was hard, but I already notice that I have moved up from 4.5 mph to 4.8 mph and I actually ran for a longer time...and I feel so good when I'm done!! My muscles haven't been sore but I make sure to stretch really good before and after. Im posting a pix of me after my workout today and realize that the stripes on the shirt arent flattering, but hey- its a workout shirt.
I finally went and bought a new pair of sorts. (It just wasnt working anymore for me to wear baggy size 22 shorts that would slide off over my hips when I walked.) I was extatic to buy a size 16!!!! Some of the brands of size 16's didn't fit, but all I needed was ONE that did. So Happy!!

Holy Moses you look SO good! Are we going to do a GLAM makeover shoot when I come down?!! I'm so dang excited for you that I am just going to have to call you today..... of course, I'll wait until it's a decent time ;)
